Vidya Jyothi Trust, established in 2000, works to provide quality, value-based and affordable education. The Trust believes that education should develop not only academic knowledge but also character, discipline, responsibility and confidence. Its educational activities cover school education, higher education, scholarships and support to government schools in rural areas.
The Trust runs two primary schools and one higher secondary school under the SJNS Jain Group of Schools in Triplicane, Chennai. The schools provide education from LKG to Class XII under the Tamil Nadu Samacheer Kalvi Board and together serve about 1,250 students. The schools focus on academic learning along with discipline, values, communication skills, co-curricular activities and overall development. The aim is to provide children, including those from economically weaker families, an opportunity to receive quality education at an affordable cost.
MITS Group of Institutions, Jadan, Pali District, Rajasthan, established in 2014 under the esteemed Vidya Jyothi Trust, has emerged as a leading center of higher learning in the region. With a vision to impart quality, value-driven and industry-relevant education, MITS began its journey by offering Engineering programs and expanded in 2018 to include regular Degree Courses in Science, Commerce, Arts and Computer Applications. Guided by the belief that education forms the foundation of humanity, the institution further extended its legacy by establishing MITS International School, thus creating a seamless academic ecosystem from school to professional education.

The Trust provides scholarships to deserving students to reduce the financial burden of education. The assistance is aimed at helping students continue their studies despite financial difficulties and ensuring that lack of money does not become a reason for discontinuing education.
The Trust also works to improve educational facilities in rural areas of Pali district, Rajasthan by adopting government schools and providing infrastructure support. This helps government-school students access better learning facilities and improves the overall educational environment in underserved rural communities.
